Self Talk

Well, it seems like I'm all by myself with this "blogging" stuff. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Maybe I'm too boring for anybody to add their 5 cents' worth, although with inflation it probably costs now at least 50 cents.

I'm currently studying Eschatology, and it is truly an interesting class; a life-time class, a life-time studying and learning and undoing all the wrong thinking and and believing.
I've watched the movie "The Secret" it's a great movie, but it is missing a few very important points. But people are starting to come around to the idea that life may be quite different than previously believed and that's a good thing.

SimpleOlogy

I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.

How Do I Start

Hello World; of course that's if the world is reading this. ;-) If not, then "hello" to whoever is taking the time to read this.
This is my first try at this fairly new phenomena of getting one's thoughts out into the world of "cyber".
I have'nt read too many "blogs", don't even know how to get to them. All I know that "blogging" is the newest buzz word, and I would love to join this latest "craze" I also heard that you can make money with "blogging", of course that is really what got my attention. ;-)
Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I go by KuanYin, and no that is not my legal name, but is my motto. It is the name of the Chinese Goddess of Compassion and Mercy. I do try to live by that. Not always successfully, but I do try my best. I was born and raised in Germany, but have been in the US for many, many years. I have several children and many grandchildren, with more on the way. And I love them all, even those that give me nothing but grief. I think most of us have at least one in the family.
The title of this blog "I Think Therefore I Am" is a quote from René Descartes and something I have been given a lot of thought to. (no pun intended)
I would love to get some feedback on how to do the "blogging" correctly, if there is a "correct" way of doing it. If not, perhaps a bit of guidance on how to proceed with this would be very welcome.
